Here's where things stand with Raleigh's proposed teen curfew — what's already happened, our next chance to speak, and when Council is scheduled to vote.

    Council directs staff to draft a curfew ordinance

    Raleigh City Council directed staff to draft a citywide curfew ordinance for people 17 and under.

  2. AUGUST 18

    HAPPENED

    Council discusses the proposed teen curfew

    Council heard and discussed the proposed curfew ordinance.

    City Council votes on the proposed teen curfew

    Raleigh City Council is scheduled to vote on the proposed teen curfew ordinance on September 15.

The vote is September 15. Our next chance to make sure Council hears from Raleigh is September 8. Young people — and the people who stand with them — need to be part of what happens before the vote.
